I got the same problem with my Platinum. I downgraded to the 01.03.0700 firmware on both the drone & remote. I did opened up the Platinum to insert in the MicroSD card for the on-board flightlog. The temp today on the flight was very cold and windy, so this may be the reason. I will test it...

i had a Nexus 7 2013 to use on my P3P and the lag was killing me. the processor and CPU and RAM on the Nexus 7 isn't fast enough for the drone. You will experience lag, stutter, screen freezes randomly or app just forced close all the times. Get a faster tablet like the Nvidia Shield or Samsung...

or just dont use DJI GO 4 and stick with the regular DJI GO app.. if it aint broke, why fix it? the regular DJI GO app has been smooth for me with over 100 flights.

Sure was. We had great time together. Recently just sold her after I got the Mavic since I don't need to have 2 birds with similar specs. Next upgrade would probably be the P4P.

you need something with the best screen for outdoor day time use. the iPad tablets are worst and I've been flying before with my P3/P4 and hate using the ipad. Samsung make the best AMOLED screen which is great for direct sunlight use during the day. Get any newer Samsung tablet that fits your...
