Good experience buying M4 Pro from Japan on eBay

probably by declaring it as $100 "Milwaukee Cordless Drill", like my Korean seller did with mine :P

    New Firmware

I wonder if DJI is aware of this gimbal clicking issue, that many of us reported. Also that follow-me mode jerking, that was the main reason I reverted my FW back to .0200. As I said earlier, I will stick to .0200 and keep my eyes open for new firmware for the drone, hopefully fixing those issues

    New Firmware

Not sure about older versions of Windows. I run mine on WIN11 without any issues. There is Mac version as well, I have not try that one

    New Firmware

Yes, use DJI Assistant 2 (you can get it here), install it, then just connect the drone via USB-C cable to your computer, launch the app, it should recognize the drone and offer you FW update/downgrade. I used it to get my drone back to .0200

    New Firmware

Yea, their support (just like any support) is just trying to follow the book, "do this, do that, blah blah blah..." I did notice some clicking, not sure though, if it was related to changing brightness, mine was when I was moving the drone around in my hand. I have downgraded back to .0200 and...

    New Firmware

Got further updates. So I tried the POI follow-me mode just now, and works flawlessly, no jerking, drone follows and avoids obstacles as expected! Not sure if this issue is something "batch related" as mentioned here earlier, but for me, I am sticking with v.0200 until they release a new one...

    New Firmware

Okay folks, just finished downgrading FW back to v .0200, and guess what, no more gimbal jerking/clicking! operates perfect! I am yet to test POI follow-me mode inflight, its just dark here, gotta wait till morning for that! UPDATE: DHP works with v.0200 as well! Not sure why were they...

    New Firmware

Folks, here is a video of my M4P when moving it around in my hands (with rotors off), you could see those tiny jerks and hear the clicking especially at the beginning and towards end of the video. While I don't see any gimbal related issues while inflight, but I am 100% I was not having this...

    New Firmware

Okay, I did some more flying with this new .0300 drone firmware and noticed more issues. Apart from that gimbal jerking when moving drone around (with drone on, rotors off) I tested out this "follow-me" mode an while drone did its best to avoid any obstacles, it was very jerky doing so. I don't...

    New Firmware

I am aware of gimbal being active when drone is ON but rotors OFF, in fact I even used it sometimes as a handheld camera for some shots while not flying, but these gimbal jumps (nothing crazy) an clicking is definitely new. Wasn't there in previous FW version for sure.

    New Firmware

Thanks for the detailed write-up! On another note, have you, by any chance, noticed those gimbal "jumps" and clicking when drone is on and you carry it around?

    New Firmware

My poor Air 3S (joking) but I still love that drone! :)

    New Firmware

I noticed that myself. But only when carrying the drone in my hand around while on, no gimbal issues when flying though. whatever this is, it was not doing it with previous firmware. Anyone else noticed this?

Mavic 4 Pro - Obstacle Avoidance Issues

Man, I am very sorry to hear what you are going through. I purchased my first M4P from S.Korea (eBay seller @with_us_store) drone came brand new, fully functional, but during my initial flight, RC started throwing error about OA malfunctioning. When switching to OA camera views, it was showing...
