Having the bird with its spinning props anywhere near my face or body on takeoff or landing is not an attractive proposition. I've seen pictures of what a mishap can do to flesh. Just my thought though!
My understanding of the functional differences (other than color) were "improved" ESC's and different props, I tried running the Platinum props on my MP and they seem quieter, but I prefer the Master Airscrew orange props which are my go-to choice.
