My question is why do this? You may have better luck on the forum or ebay getting a used drone. I have bought sold 5 through the forum and many from ebay.

I had 3 or 4 replacements over the past 9 years and DJI never took longer then 10 days (door to door)

Why don't you put a GPS tracker on the RC Aircraft. I have been using Trakimo for years on my drones which has saved my drone several times. Just follow the app to tracker.. The new 4G version is super accurate.

Flat Screen technology has been built up in Southern Wis. DJI shoots itself in foot by not having presence in a major market like the US. I understand the manufacturering process needs to be in China.

Well said. I still do not see why DJI cannot move some of its testing, engineering and support like any well run global company into the US like other companies do.

For me its the 360 camera views. I have used most of the 360 cameras from GoPro and Insta360. This is how I got into making special mounts.
