I routinely attach Firehouse LED strobes to my Mavic 2ED for night flying. Even made 3D printed clips so they could be attached and removed easily. Would probably fit other Mavics as well: 3D Printed LED Clips

I created some 3D printed clips that attached Firehouse Dual strobes for Mavic 2 series drones. There is a pair that faces forward and a pair that faces sideways, or you can mix/match. The snap on and snap off, and won't fall off. Website: Prusa Printables I also have a set posted for Phantom 4.

I follow Pilot Institute but haven't seen that - I'll go looking for it. A change like this would certainly make life easier. Right now I'm leaning toward the Drone Tag Beacon, but it wouldn't arrive until October at the earliest.

I'm a little confused (nothing new). Since some drones will need an external module to do RID, how will the drone itself know that you do or don't have the external module and thus possibly refuse to take off?
