I flew into the Couzmel airport 2 months ago with the Mavic with no issues. As long as you aren't bringing the drone in its retail packing with the intent to sell it I don't see why there would be any issue. I flew out of the Cancun airport and security thought the extra props I had were knifes...

I also ordered a single battery direct from DJI website on October 5th and it still hasn't shipped.

DJI Experience store in Times Square had batteries and charging hubs in stock when I went yesterday.

Was able to get a battery and a charging hub at the DJI store in NYC today. Just canceled my orders I placed on the DJI website from October 5th which still haven't shipped. If you live in or around Manhattan it's a great option
