    Tearing my hair out

CS4 was released in 2008 - when we weren't dealing with 4K or high data rates. Nothing I have from a decade ago will handle 4K. Did you shoot in 4K? PP relies heavily on hardware to achieve performance - I'm guessing you don't have enough RAM or all-round general 'oomph' (technical term) in your...

    Tearing my hair out

That sounds like your issue right there. It won't be up to date with codecs etc, and may not be optimised to cope with recent acquisitions. Also, keep in mind that you may be stripping out valuable colour information by going through Handbrake eg if you filmed in a LOG format but then compressed...

I often export a large size master...

    How can this happen?!

Yeah, you've compressed it by changing formats/codecs. However, you don't need that extra info now that you've colour-graded it. The reason for shooting RAW is to give yourself extra capability in the post process, especially when grading. You've done that bit now, so can export in a more...

    Manners Maketh Man

Quote: "These inconsiderate punks may inherit the earth but God help them for the quality of life and human associations they will never know." Classy. Name-calling; calling for divine intervention; making assumptions about someone's quality of life based on reading a line on the net... 'glad I...
