No. of transmission antennas and receivers doesn't affect compatibility directly. Look at current controllers. Rc pro already has 2T4R with O3. Frequency ranges are the same apart from the addition of the 5.1Ghz frequency band(s) which can be ignored in O3 mode

That one doesn’t discharge to storage mode though does it? Think I’ve got the same one as you. My Air 2S one did discharge to storage mode but had a loud fan to cool the resistive circuit as a consequence. Was literally quicker and less annoying to drain the battery in the drone.
