    ND vs ND/PL

@gnirtS You're absolutely right, and thanks for taking the time to spell that out. As a photographer I often forget that not everyone knows how to properly use CPL's. Much like if you say "hey go to the store and get me some bananas", to someone who has no idea how to drive a car, there's some...

    ND vs ND/PL

I dont have a YouTube video, but here's an example of a shot I took recently, using an ND64 on my Mavic Air, so I could "Active Track" the car, and run a super low shutter speed (1/2 sec), giving that nice motion blur on the foreground: Joe Bishop on Instagram: “Vetted #MotionBlur #Vette...

    ND vs ND/PL

Yes thats correct. An ND/PL is literally the same as stacking a Polarizing filter on top of an ND filter. It just adds the polarization. Generally in the DSLR camera world, you would actually stack those filters, threading one on top of the other. With drones, especially a small one like the...

    ND vs ND/PL

Generally no, however there are some stylistic choices where it matters. For example, think of a scene where you see someone sitting on the train, and it is shot from outside the window. You see the reflection of what the train is passing by... Trees, buildings, etc...reflected in the window...

You often want to use a CPL when shooting near water, to cut out the harsh reflections. You often...

    Which ND Filter to buy?

http://a.co/cugOmTo I use these, it's a set of ND4, 8, and 16, plus 4, 8, and 16 polarized (6 filters in total). These cover me for just about all conditions, though I may pick up a 32 and/or 64 for shooting low shutter speed during the day. Good luck!

Have you replaced your left rear arm? You might have something for me if you have...

Hey Mavic Air pilots! I had a rough landing the other day, and didn't realize until after I was already home, that I knocked off the foot underneath the left rear motor. Searched the landing location for an hour, to no avail. eBay etc only sells the full arm with the motor, and I really don't...
