Yes, I realize that's correct, but I guess I'm wondering why. Why does the 2S have to apply zoom in mastershots, thus rendering D-log inoperative? Seems like they could just make the thing do the moves without zoom... but there must be some reason why or they'd have done it already.

I'm paranoid now... whenever I switch to a programmed mode (mastershot / quickshot) I double-check that it's not switched back to 1080p from 4K. Still it seems there's nothing you can do to get it to shoot D-log which is a huge dissapointment

I too have an Air 2S and was frustrated and baffled to discover it switches back to Rec 709 when you set it to do a mastershot. Why? Anyone know if this is something that DJI is planning to enable on an upcoming firmware release? I shoot everything in D-log so it's super annoying to have it...
