Believe that manned aircraft are currently to be 500' AGL minimum except for takeoff, landing and emergency. That's the primary reason for our 400'AGL restriction. Really should be no need for manned aircraft to have 1,000' minimum.

max altitude specs are 5000m. However, there is a firmware limit that caps your max altitude to 500m above your takeoff elevation.

It's best to fly over water at greater than 30' to avoid confusing the vps sensors. I typically fly 50' over water. Another option is to turn vps off.

Very glad you were released quickly!! We can fly in our city parks, but we cannot take off or land on any public street. Reason: it can/would be a distraction to motorists driving on that street and result in an accident. I have to agree with that.

You might try AirMap. It's a free app and you can customize the shape of your flight area (does not always have to be a circle) If your flight area does not cross over an airport's nfz you'll not get an advisory. Pretty cool. And, if you need to notify an airport, AirMap will give you the number...

if you feel you're getting "ripped off", then don't send it in for repair, or send it for a non-authorized repair. You gets what you pays for. And, maybe watch where you land your note REALLY expensive drone!

YES....I scrolled until I saw that someone mentioned this point. Until DJI GO 4 lets you plan missions without turning on aircraft AND offers setting waypoint altitudes AGL, there is no threat to Litchi.
