I am similar to OP. First-time drone flyer and I have only flown my MP twice since January :(. There are airports everywhere and I find it difficult to find a location that I feel I won't bother or be bothered.

I live near Wehrspann lake, but it's within 5 miles of Millard airport, so I've not flown there. So is Zorinsky. AirMap gives the impression that there's nowhere to fly around Omaha without contacting airports.

I have an S8 and the only issue I have is that the phone charges from the controller. I have yet to find a solution and, as I understand, it may be an issue with Android in general. I've tried disabling the "charge this phone", but no luck.

Thoughts on if/when the Mavic Pro gets these new quickshots??
