Time to bite the bullet and do as all those with a great working Mac's but, Apple considers them vintage at about 8 years old. I had to drop the cash for a new Mac that has processor that will do 4K. But it's worth it!!

I fly a Hubsan 501s for my fun flying and it sport mode it will hum. The smaller drone prices are a lot easier to swallow when you crash them. Plus they aren't so technical that you can do most repairs yourself. I have 8 drones with my Mav being my baby I covet strongly. Just a thought...

My cord never worked out of the box. Got dji to replace it and it still doesn't work. It will not connect to the Mavic. I purchased a 12 inch cord on eBay and not a problem since. I believe there is an issue with the connector on the controller but, it still charges and I connect my phone...
