Based on the comments on the YouTube link, it sounds like its due to a pre-release firmware + possible CE signal output vs. FCC signal output. I would take the current range test with a grain of salt due to software limits rather than hardware limits.

Sensor aging is not a thing in terrestrial applications. Definitely a thing in space applications where cosmic rays and hi levels of radiation can destroy pixels degrade sensitivity. So the only thing that should really be aging is the battery.

My biggest challenge is that the Air 2S and Mini 3 Pro was more or less the same price for me. The A2S sensor does seem to have a lot of blurring near the edges compared to the M3P based on the image data back, and now I'm leaning more towards the M3P. M3P would require more post process work...

I was doing serious analysis, because I have the opportunity return my Air 2S for free and buy a Mini 3 Pro instead. My objective opinion saw the pros and cons of the Air 2S and I prefer it over the Mini 3.

I don't fully agree with you here, the Mavic 3 looks like better than the Mini 3 Pro in some of the review comparisons, and the Air 2S comparison you provided in this video shows some of the challenges the Mini 3 Pro experiences.

I wasn't referring to stills but video capture. The ND filter will still impact the stills, for example if you want use hyperlapse where you can reduce the shutter speed on stills to capture different impacts. Example here:

This is a great video comparison showing the Pro's and Cons of each. The Mini 3 Pro is sharper and more clear than the Air 2S. But the Air 2S has better dynamic range and color than both the Mini 2 and 3. The Mini 3 is improved over the Mini 2 but still more muted compared to the Air 2S.
