Here’s a great YouTube video that will walk you through the vision calibration process for your Mavic 2 Pro. I referred back to this video several times through the 3 years I flew my Mavic 2 Pro. All the best. Jeff.
I mostly fly with the OA off as well. The drone (Mavic 3 Pro) flys more smoothly with the OA off. I found this to be true of the Mavic 2 Pro and more recently, the Mini 4 Pro. You just have to be very careful in the vicinity of objects.
This happens on occasion when I fly the Mini 4 Pro and my Mavic 3 Pro over water and in windy conditions. My work around? Take more than one pano over the subjects. The second pano is usually fine.
This is a good point. I’m an adjunct professor at Carroll Community College (just NW of Baltimore). This is my third year of teaching. The school hired me and a few other commercial drone pilots to teach basic and advanced flight to credit and non-credit students. It’s a vibrant training...
Hi Omer. Thanks VERY much for your clear-cut guidance. I’ll give it a go.
I’ve had good luck downloading images and video wirelessly from the Mavic 3 Pro directly to my iOS devices. It’s very quick and simple.
I’ll give your process a go in order to have a solid plan B. Thanks again...
I just updated my iPad with the latest firmware. As you suspected, this update completely fixed the RAW file issue (purple horizontal lines in the image). The wireless transfer of photos and video from the aircraft to the iPad is flawless too.
Great advice all the way around. Thanks again...
Thank you. That’s an outstanding solution. I did this last night and it worked just fine.
One nuance: RAW files are coming over with purple horizontal stripes. Have you noticed the same?
