That's completely irrelevant ... go further down in the article and read the section headed: Table of sensor formats and sizes That explains where the size names come from and that they have no relation to the physical size of the sensors. -

So, is the file size the same as my Fuji GFX 100MP medium format camera? Does '1/1.3" sensor size' mean that it is actually a 1" x 1.3" rectangle? They are going to pack 100 MP into that space? Good...
