Yea man! Me too! My first of my four batteries, it has sort of waves and hairline cracks in the same area as yours. My mavic also has a few small spots that look like bulges, and perhaps the start of a crack. You are the first report I've seen of this besides my own. DJI told me to send it back...

I agree with that, I used to sell on ebay for my sole income, no more, no more. It's a greedy hell hole that favors new buyers. That being said I am also stuck with a fourth battery to sell, not as bad as having too many Mavics though !

I also have the Syma X5C-1, love this thing, I learned how to fly it, and only had it to fly and play with for 2 years, now I have the Mavic. But I still fly the Syma just for fast fun careless flights, it can take a beating

I also own those two, the Mavic and the Syma X5c1, older model of yours without headless. I love that syma man I've had mine for years so many crashes and learning flights. It is an EXCELLENT learning drone.

Luckily I found some kind sellers that sold me batteries for 200 a pop and a mavic pro sealed for 1200. You poor sods. The fact that I could turn around and sell me mavic pro and 4 batteries for upwards of 3k even being slightly used is tempting but I love this thing way too much on my 6 day...

I hand catch my mavic everytime, i grab the rear right arm at the base with my fingers, then hold down the left stick until it's off. Works fine this way for me.

I realize obtaining another battery at this point for my Mavic, is going to take quite a while, while most people don't even have one battery or mavic. Now, I'm not opposed to trying things and experimenting with my expensive toys. I'm wondering if anyone knows if it would be possible to attach...
