Hello everyone. I was able to get my part 107 license on line due to the fact I also have a Single Engine Land (Pilot) license, a Basic Medical and a Bi-annual flight review. The test for Part 107 wasn't especially easy and the fact that the online requirement for the written test was 100%. Somehow, after watching the video online, I was able to get a score of 100% and thus the opportunity to fly up to 400 feet above the tallest object within 400 feet of my position.

Here's the payoff. I've been doing broadcast, public safety, Utilities and private tower work for 46 years. It is now legal for me to fly while doing my regular work. What's the best way to not fall from a tall structure? Simple, don't climb it. The drone (Mavic Pro) increases our safety factor by allowing us to view potential problems up close and personal. Thus, my Part 107 ticket.
