Have you looked at the Mavic Air 2? It was just released and its quite an impressive set of features for the price! The Mavic 3 Pro is rumored to come out later this year.

Do you plan on doing a lot of post processing on your videos? If not, then the MA2 is good. If you plan on taking advantage of the 10-bit recordings, then the M2P would make more sense. Either way, you can sell them when the M3P comes out and its something you want.

FYI, be aware of where you buy your micro/SD cards from. There are known fakes out there. I would recommend buying from only reputable places.

I've only taken off and landed by hand with both my MA and M2P. If you're comfortable with that, I would suggest that. If not, then a landing pad is a great way to keep the dust and such out. The gimbal mechanism is quite exposed and close to the ground.

I like this and it makes sense for the current line up. DJI calls it the Mavic Air 2 so the [line] is "Mavic Air" and the [generation] is "2". The next Mavic mini would be Mavic Mini 2, following brett8883's convention
