What constitutes "over" a car or person

Helicopters, airplanes, crop dusters, jets, hot air balloons, para gliders, etc... all fly over people and cars. If they crash, a lot more damage will be done.

Fess up- Have you broken the VLOS rule? (poll)

I love that screen showing all the info! What is that? I wish DJI would use that for the FLY APP

    New DJI smart controller

Again, to get photos and videos off the controller you must do it through the Go 4 App. Mavic Air 2 isn’t listed in the list of which drone you have. You must pick the drone you are transferring from. Since it’s not listed you can’t scan the barcode to transfer your photos and videos.

DJI GO doesn’t work with Mavic Air 2

    New DJI smart controller

I’ve tried that before but I don’t remember why it didn’t work. I’m thinking it brought up the “Go App” and not the “Fly App”

    New DJI smart controller

What I don’t like about the SC is that since my iphone’s not hooked up to it I have to take the SD card out and put it in a reader to transfer to my iphone.

Mavic Air 2 firmware 1.00.0511 released

When I’ve done updates in the past the first battery that’s in the drone during the initial update is automatically updated without the battery update prompt. It’s when you put the other 2 batteries in that the battery update pops up.

    Scary flight today

Always remember, you don’t have to have your phone hooked up to the controller. You can fly the MA2 with the controller alone with the buttons.

Anyone ever been busted.... (107 question)

Bottom line is, don’t try to deceive anyone. Just get your part 107 then there’s nothing to worry about.

    MA2 batteries not holding charge

Yeah I’m always very careful with my lipos. I’m just amazed that DJI doesn’t require fireproof bags. If you take on a plane you have to have them in a bag. Plus, I’ll also mention that you can’t leave the DJI batteries fully charged ever since they start losing charge within a few hours forcing...

    MA2 batteries not holding charge

But I do know plenty about RC car lipos. They will stay fully charged for several days and traxxas says put in storage mode if you don’t plan on using them for more than a week. Lipo’s are also required to be charged in a fireproof bag but it’s funny that these DJI batteries don’t need to be, or...

    MA2 batteries not holding charge

No I don’t ever leave lipo batteries on a charger longer than necessary. They are too unpredictable.
