I think you may be on to something, I’ve had a fight with a tree that didn’t cause any visable damage but could defiantly have knocked the gimbal. I actually looked at the ribbon cable earlier but couldn’t see any visable damage. If 4wd’s suggestion doesn’t work it may be a job for the insurance.
