I'm with you on that Aussie, the thing is I've tried calibrating with the tablet a good distance away from the rc, seems not to make any difference. Think maybe the magnets in the tablet have thrown off some of the magnets around the stick. Not too sure how to resolve but will keep fiddling with it.

Hi jake, I have experienced this also, my accelerometer readings are the same after cold Imu calibration, but after further flights the read out for accelerometer bias for accelerometer 1 is 0.016 and for accelerometer 2 it is 0.002. I have not noticed any effect from this and flew 18000 feet...

Still was most likely light related. Basically when "in changing light conditions" i.e going in and out of clouds or whatever, the sudden change in light can trigger the obstacle avoidance system. This is why on distance flights I prefer to disable obstacle avoidance as it stays on when in RTH...

Yeah that's basically all I did just kept turning aircraft on and off aswell and it was letting me recalibrate controller with aircraft on which was not normal. I just get worn down with the issues, must have had 15 different little glitches to solve on this machine and was like a dream before...

Lol i think he means he stripped the cable and cut the internal black wire but I'm really not sure! Surely they can firmware this issue out in some way

Actually no rant not over, they have pissed me off. It really shouldnt let you calibrate controllers when aircraft is powered on but it did for me, and playing around with that behaviour is basically what seemed to change beahviour to let me get a normal calibration done and return the stick...
