There are some serious idiots flying drones that have no business flying these things. If you can't abide by the rules, then DON'T buy a drone. And don't think that there is a loyalty or brotherhood between drone pilots because there isn't. Anybody with enough money can buy a drone and fly it...
After reading these posts, I had to go and check to see if my Mavic flew as I have been flying my Mavic daily within 5 miles from an Airport without problems. But I researched it and the NFZ here is a class E which apparently is the least restrictive.
In other words..READ THE MANUAL. There is a lot of information being tossed around on the net. Best advice is to read the manual that was written by people who built the Mavic.
I replaced my micro SD card today with a class 10 card and got a much better quality video. The DJI website will tell you that other cards will work just fine in the Mavic, but I have learned that there is a big difference in quality between the class 10 cards and others used in the drone. Here...
