Haha.
None yet but local government will require permits to fly commercially within thier limits. The city will use the data they compile to charge operators a fee of some kind.. Does that happen now. NO but some cities around here do monitor filming... -

Correct Let it go ... update the controller and your drone will fly normally. Your concerns about updating are overdone and there's not going to be anything to worry about.

You’ve been given the answer already. I just wanted to reiterate. They are 2 seperate apps. DJI Go is the app used for older drones like the original mavic and phantoms. DJI moved newer drones like your mini 4K to the DJI fly app. 2 drone series...
