I have the DJI goggles, uncomfortable and I miss the map course guide, tried an iPad mini (incredibly laggy) it was 3 years old purchased used for $150 but otherwise cleaned out, finally got a crystal sky used for $400. Never looked back. I’m interested in the BT300 glasses because of how light...
It happened to me once, I ignored it because it went away, flew OK for 5 seconds and the crashed. Only crash in 1 year plus. Now I look carefully until I’m up and secure everything is clear. If I see it I land immediately and start again from a different location or hand launch. Watch out for...
Ok so to try and get best exposure the way to deal with it is HDR. I have done a lot of HDR and with real estate but not on the Mavic Pro Plat I usually don’t shoot stills on it. Do we have full AEB? Can we adjust the EV? I prefer not to let the camera do it auto. Photomatix is quick and easy
My biggest piece of advice besides don’t fly indoors is be careful what you take off from and Watch for warnings as you take off. If you see magnetic interference or compass error when you take off land immediately and move to a different spot.make sure you can SEE what you are doing on the...
Wow sorry for the crazy operation! I understand why you would use assistant but I get nervous when a I get a call on my iPhone and am flying.
They should warn no multitasking if this is a confirmed problem. Guess I’m glad I’m iPhone and to turn up brightness I used to swipe up. Now I use the...
I’d be surprised if that drone at night could see anything. But why hell is the guy flying at that time of the night near a house. Looks to me like if he got close he would crash in to the tree. I like how they used another drone to make up footage. I did have a neighbor tell me a drone was...
I purchased clip in magnifiers that work great but we’re not cheap.
I like mine pretty much but since I picked up he crystal sky it’s just easier. Only think I don’t like is the interface, no map, it’s gets sweaty and they don’t fit my head well and are heavy.
I'm learning how to fix the pump issue like every 8 frames in Final Cut and I was wondering about aperture. Everyone says 2x fps so I use 100 iso, 2.7K 30fps with the filters and get it to 1/60 but..... sometimes I think it looks smoother with no or less filtering and adjusting in the aperture...
My understanding is it is LOS not VLOS.
Let’s be realistic. Do we need to get our eyes checked as well ? If doesn’t have to go more than a block away and I’ll Start having a hard time seeing. It would be impossible to prove VLOS, it’s a moving target depending on the person’s eyes, weather and...
I think yes or to use a tesla/mag meter you can download on the iPhone. I use that when in doubt. My iWatch definitely messes with mine, be careful with stuff on your wrists, even aluminum
I fly a mile away but always have a rescue path in mind. I try to only fly where I can get to it.
I thought the idea was “line” of sight, not that you actually need to see it. Since if you put a mountain between you and the bird you will loose connection. I don’t think many people can actually...
Man that sucks, same thing happened to me in doors in a factory but lucky minor damage. But to this day I wonder if my camera and gimble are right.
My mistake was I took off and saw a magnetic warning as I first got up which can be easy to miss if you are not looking at the screen. But it went...
My only other experience is flying with an iPhone 8 and it seemed smoother. I like having the cache in case I loose it but I’ll see. It weird since it was the worst the first day.
