Hi, not a direct answer, but related: I do want the filenames as "date+time.jpg" instead of the standard numbering. I do use renamer with the following rule: "replace current name by :EXIF_date:". This creates a name according to the date/time the photo was taken.
As soon as I return home...
Hi, 200-250 meter is very high for a small drone. In Europe (and probably also in the USA and DownUnder), this is not even legal. Download an app which shows windspeed at higher altitude, like UAV. And remember, the RTH kicks in when you lose connection to your drone; it will ascend to 200m and...
Hi, not a direct answer, but regarding the following "I also have the height ceiling for RTH at max". Don't set it higher than neccesary, because higher up the winds are stronger; and the Mini might have a difficult job to fight it. A lot of mini's were lost this way because they are a bit...
Hi, sorry, I don't know. Never used Luminar with HDR photo's.
Edited:
in Luminar (and Adobe tools of course also), you can tweak the contrast for highlights and shadows independently. Starting with a RAW (DNG) image and tweaking the contrast is, although not the same as real HDR processing...
Agreed, at first I found the DNG images very disappointing: not sharp, bad contrast etc. But after some practice I do prefer them. Tried Gimp and RAWTherapee, but found both difficult to use. I'm a fan of Luminar 4 now. Easy to create and export very good JPG's.
Mavic can generate both JPGs + DNGs. Just a setting in the app. This makes it possible to edit the DNG files on a later moment. I do shoot everything in JPG + DNG. So I'm able to optimize the best shots. But most shots are fine in JPG.
Hi, if you use (only) JPG, make sure the settings in the GO app are correct. IMH "1/0/0" works fine.
I do use Luminar 4 for processing DNG; very good tool, but not free. Approx 80USD. Results are far better than the JPG's as produced by the Mavic. See The world's biggest drone photo and video...
No in Photo settings. And I don't think the Spark has even te possibility to lock the gimbal. Now I do have a more powerfull MPP, but I'm still impressed by the handling and capabilities of my ol' Sparky.
Hi, no, I don't even have the original image I'm afraid... Probably 200-400 ISO and a shutterspeed between 0.5-4 secs. I was also impressed by the capabilities of that little Spark.
