I did make this error a few times when I was new and didn't notice until I was in flight, Landed and removed cover.
I have had more than 75 flights since without problems. You should be fine.
I wanted to thank all of you for your kind comments regarding my passing my 107.
After working on a few jobs I'm starting to get my confidence level up.
I am now happily employed with a larger contractor with lots of work.
Now I just wonder what the future holds with the FAA NPRM.
I use 4 firehouse ARC Strobes on my drones and the Lume Cube Anti Collision Strobe on top. I can see it very far away.
I also have the Lume Cube Flood Lights I can point down on my Mavic 2 Pro and they can light up the ground from 70 feet up, But they would be too heavy for the Mini. :)
I use the flightrader24 app to see the medivac Helli's from the hospital by me and it is very accurate.
I always check it before every flight and have someone monitor it during the flight.
It doesent catch all aircraft but it does see the medivac's.
When I took my 107 exam this month the test center said they have been getting LEO's taking the 107 test on a daily basis so it seems they may be having them get certified so they know the regulations.
He mentioned this was a big increase.
