Significant vignetting and other issues (new owner)

Can you upload more video samples? I can't get that one to load so maybe try YouTube. From the photo and the screen grab that came up from the video I see a lot of vignette, and I've not seen that on my videos. Visit theboathouse.restaurant and The Boat House (the one in Canberra Australia) and...

Samsung S8 Won't connect to the controller...

I have an s8 and it definitely works. You mentioned s8 in the title but said note in the text so unsure if the note is the problem

    SNOW RIVERS AND WATERFALLS

Nice work. Those shots of the mountains and light house are great. What settings are you running and post process?

    Bird Strike ... nearly!!

Hearing lots of stories of close calls but it seems rare that they actually end up hitting the Mavic. I get heaps trying to attack mine here in Canberra and I always fly away quickly. Has anyone actually heard of the drone getting taken down or it this something that just isn't happening often?

Note to self, be more careful hand catching!

I get down to the lake, it's perfectly still and the light is perfect so I load up the Mavic and get it in the air. I line up the shot but can't see the button for intelligent flight modes, I close down the DJI app but this doesn't help. I look through the options but can't see anything wrong. I...

Not a smooth video while turning.

Hi All. I must advise that I was incorrect in assuming this issue affected my mavic. I have since realised my jerkiness in panning and watching video was related to a mismatch of refresh rates between what I'd shot and what my surface laptop and phone screens run it. I ran my videos via HDMI to...

Not a smooth video while turning.

Razor, when do you expect your unit back?

Not a smooth video while turning.

That wouldn't explain why Johanna's footage is now so smooth with the new unit. I am already on my second unit because my first failed after around 20 hours, gimbal stopped holding level. I've reviewed the original raw footage from both units and the problem is consistent across both.

Not a smooth video while turning.

OK yes I was thinking I was unsure how people got such smooth results VS mine. I thought it was just me. See below clips I made just now Mavic Pan Test 4k 24p 1/50 shutter pal And trying out NTSC Mavic Pan Test 4k 30p 1/60 shutter ntsc What are your thoughts on these? Time to send my unit back?

Not a smooth video while turning.

Yes I did that just then. Got the same jerky / flicky results. Lots of experienced people on this thread have indicated this is normal quality for a mavic. Does anyone reading this thread have a mavic that doesn't do this? Johanna has uploaded one video, but outside of that we haven't seen any...

Not a smooth video while turning.

So doesn't this just prove that it's worth sending back? Johanna's second lot of footage is much smoother. I've found this thread because I notice this issue on my mavic even when pulling or pushing out from a shot when there are objects near the edge of the frame (like trees and bushes getting...

Litchi vs Goapp 4 differences and problems with extensive use

Unfortunately my Android LG phone won't let two apps for the drone be installed at the same time. So each time I want to move between Litchi and DJI Go you need to redownload the other app, uninstall the first app and reset the device. Serious pain. I want to use Litchi more often but because...

ADVICE ON INEXPENSIVE PHONE/TABLET FOR MAVIC

Sounds like that Acer Iconica is the way to go but if you want a smaller phone I can vouch for the LG K10 LTE. I got it pretty cheap and it works perfectly. No crashes or issues ever from around 25 flights

    This thing is pretty amazing.

It certainly can, but you should fully read the manual as its got that and other useful information, which can save you when you have an emergency and don't have time to read it!
