Karakoram

A former Marine turned conflict news producer with the BBC World Service - eventually got tired of the conflicts and escaped to the mountains of Karakoram for a vacation, realised a month later that that's where I want to live and I want to show the beauty of the place and people in this mountain range to the entire world. Fast forward 5 years later - I've walked across Pakistan twice now, once from the China border to the coastline of Karachi and once from the Wakhan Corridor with Afghanistan to the Wahga border with India, this time with National Geographic's Paul Salopek as part of his Out of Eden Walk.
