That really was a beautiful break from reality. What a beautiful home you have. Loved the birds! Thank god you’re helping them out! At my new home in the desert we get swarms of humming birds. I’ve been meaning to share a slo mo video I got of them. Merry Christmas, my friend!
Hey, thanks guys! I was not sure how a less “Death Defying” video would be received. Though I must say, I was very nervous doing my last flight near sunset In that maze of mud dunes. One wrong turn, a bit of wasted time and I would have been spending the night, at best. . .
I use google earth...
The Desert Badlands just west of Hanksville Utah dazzled me once again! On long road trips, my gaze was often attracted to an amazing tower off in the desert. The tower turned out to be Factory Butte. And incredibly aesthetic, yet ominous Mesa that is rapidly eroding into more of a tower like...
This was a very unique Adventure up an insanely steep valley and into the enormous Silver Lake cirque that contains one of the largest Mining Ruins I've ever see. I could have made a video on the mine alone, I definitely have the Drone footage. . . It was truly unimaginable how the miners got...

I know the Music is more industrial, not backcountry magic but, ever since I heard this song I've wanted to see if I could do an edit that could keep up with it. What do you think?
The complete video is coming soon, Ice Lake was literally unreal.
This was a spectacular mountain climbing adventure right during the peak season for Colorado's San Juan Mountains. Mount Sneffels, at 14,000'+, has 2 main routes and I did them both as a loop to see the area I in all it glory! The ascent is somewhat intimidating as a class 3 scramble up the...
Thanks twocalf! I do use a function on Davinci resolve that does quarter resolution playback. I think I’ve overwhelmed my ram as well, especially the graphics card. I’ll bet proxy clips would do slightly better though.
Despite my skills progressing quite as fast on the cinematography front, these amazing places make it pretty easy to do get some really great shots. I will say, my video editing skills have still been improving and using this MX Master 3S Logic mouse has really helped. By watching a few You...
