Went from Air 2s to mini 4 pro - BIG MISTAKE!

Of course the Mini 4 is going to have more trouble in wind, it's 249 grams. I have a Mini 4 Pro and a Mavic 2 Pro. The M4P has many features that I wished were part of the M2P. But in Florida, winds can be strong and they can come out of nowhere, that's when I fly my M2P, because it is heavier...

    Should I pull the trigger?

I have a Mavic 2 Pro and a Mavic Mini 4 Pro. I love my M2P because being a bigger drive, it can handle the Florida wind gusts beautifully. But all of the new features in the MM4P are amazing, and it can do so much more than my M2P can. I don't see myself upgrading anytime soon having the MM4P.

The finance gods look away, the drone gods smile.

I bought that case a few weeks ago. It's awesome.

    DJI mini pro 4 questions

I clipped a tree with my Magic 2 Pro. It broke 1 arm, 2 motors, and the body. My DJI care expired. I sent it in for repairs completely expecting a $400 bill. They repaired the entire thing and shipped it back in 9 days for $93.

OK...someone must have gotten a flying object or accessory for Christmas

I look forward to hearing how you like it.

    Mini 4 Pro FAA Registration

For me, as a 107 pilot, I register any drone I have that can produce good video. That protects me in case I ever decide to use the footage later.

OK...someone must have gotten a flying object or accessory for Christmas

I got a Mini 4 Pro Combo. My 1st drone was a Mavic Mini, and I also have a Mavic 2 Pro. I am amazed at the technology advancement in the M2P over the other 2.

Gimbel cover mini pro 4 driving me crazy

I find it very easy. At first I was confused because I was trying to attach it like the one in my MM1 and M2P, which is like a puzzle. When I realized it just slide in, I was impressed.

Has anyone flown in 30-40 mph+ winds with M4P?

Here in Florida, winds can build in no time. On my maiden flight, winds were mild when I took off. But about 20 minutes later, I started getting high wind warnings. On the ground the wind was steady with some powerful gusts. On the route I was taking back home, the winds were crosswinds, not...

Mavic 4 Pro wrap around prop guards

It is a bit cumbersome, but it seems to do a good job protecting the blades. Those of us who started with the original Mavic Minis remember the problem with the unprotected blades, and the drones dropping out of the sky or losing control of the drone.

Is care refresh worth the piece of mind?

In addition to taking more risks, which I also do for the same reasons you said, things can change while flying that you cannot control. After flying my M2P for years, I was flying in a hit summer day. During the flight, sustained winds went from ~5 mph winds to about 15 with higher guests. RTH...

    I *so* want a Mini 4 Pro

Pricy, but fun. Some say building FPV drones is addicting, but I don't believe it. I can quit whenever I want to, I just don't want to. 😉

Disappointed with Mini 4 Pro / Battery Plus flight time

Today was my maiden flight with my M4P. It was a clear day, a few clouds, but perfect for flying. During the flight, the wind picked up a bit, and continued building as I was heading back. It got bad, and I was fighting the wind. With high-end warnings, I couldn't hit RTH until I was about 200...

Is care refresh worth the piece of mind?

    I didn't realize they had a 2-year. I purchased the 2 year for my M4P.

    RC Controller Mod

Thanks for the info. Besides my DJI drones, I also fly FPV. On those drones, I use TBS Crossfire transmitters for the same reason. Although it will allow me to outfly my batteries, it's the solid, stable signal that I'm after.
