Thanks. There was grit coming out when I first got the compressed air onto it, but none now. Your advice is sound in checking the temps which I will do as a matter of post flight actions. Very little if any grating noises right now. Thanks

Yep tried that. Just read a thread where it says to upgrade DJI GO4 to 4.1.3. I am currently on 4.0.8 so doing it now even though the title says DJI GO4 - For Spark Lets see what happens.

Thanks. I used compressed air in the motors and cleared most, if not all of the sand particles out. Just a very slight gritty sound that I will closely monitor. At the time I didn't have a choice to take off and land from hard packed sand. I haven't yet tried hand held TO and landing.

A lot of the videos I see posted are out of focus for the first 10 seconds or so. A tip is to set the C1 button to focus (can be done in the DJI app). When I take off and while the drone is storing its way point, I just press the C1 button and focus is all good on take off. Saves going deep...
