OK, that is good to know. When I lost signal all I could think about was "I hope my 1K dollars comes back!" I am going to push it a little further today.
Amazing video, absolutely beautiful country side! You're a brave soul, lol. That was close, but I am definitely more excited now to push the limits a little more on the Mav. I am hoping to get some nice video on my trip to Washington state next month. I wish they had made the Mav with obstacle...
I have used Litchi for two missions so far and I must say I like it. Both missions were under 3000ft in length about 2 to 3 minute duration. I lost signal during the second which made me nervous for a sec...until I hit the RTH button and heard, "mission cancelled" and saw the Mav coming back...
Chun, you are right it was fun to fly. I guess I just like the DJI packaging a little more. I have two Parrot AR.2.0 that my kids play with. That's the platform that I cut my teeth on, the only problem I had with those were the WiFi interference which made it somewhat unreliable.
Lol, I sent it back to Amazon...I love Amazon no hassle returns!
I think I will look into the Spark. I'd like to see them sweeten the package. I don't like the fact that I have to buy a separate controller for it. I should be able to use the Mavic controller.
I'm going to be in Bremerton, WA in July, and was thinking of driving up to Vancouver for a day trip.
Are there restrictions for Mavic Pilots coming over from the US?
Glad that I saw this video. I was going to return my Bebop 2 FPV as well but may hold on to it after seeing your video comparison. I experienced the same type of active track errors you did. I will look more closely at the Bebop 2 Follow-me feature.
Thanks
