How does the Air 3s handle wind compared to the Air 2?

According to DJI, the Air 2 takeoff weight is 570g (1.25lbs), with wind resistance of 18-24mph. The Air 3S takeoff weight is 720g (1.6lbs), with wind resistance of 27mph. Even though the weight difference isn't much, I'd think the Air 3S would do way better in windy conditions than the Air 2...

I just ordered an Air 3S to replace my Air 2

I came from an Air 2S, got my 3S Fly More with RC2 back in March. I really like it. It's larger than the 2S, noticeably. I like that you don't have to unfold it all to get to the SD card slot. You'll like the longer battery time. The weather has been up and down here in New England lately, so...

    RC2 vs. RC-N3

I got the Fly More with RC 2 in March, besides the drone, 3 batteries, charging hub and controller, I got the ND filters, 2 extra props and a carry case. The Fly More I see now doesn't include the case... I think they call it the "Fly More Combo Lite".

Case recommendations for Air3S Fly More?

I had the case from them for my Air 2S... I had to glue in a velcro strap to keep the DJI RC in place. As I said, the only reason I use it is because it's slim enough to fit into my backpack I take to work (so it's easy to always have it on me). If that didn't matter, I wouldn't be using this case.

DHL Gives Up on Trying to Get Chinese Merch to US

Couldn't you order from Adorama, Drone Nerds or Best Buy? With all the shipping issues a month or so ago, I got an Air 3S from Drone Nerds.

Case recommendations for Air3S Fly More?

Yes, and I don't really like it, except it's small enough to fit in my work backpack so I can carry it with me. What I don't like is that the strap that goes over the charging hub and controller is way too loose, so if the case gets bopped around a bit, the controller comes loose. Can't count...

Any Ai3 3 s arriving in the USA?

It's tough to not assume, and hopefully our fears will be relieved (if that's the right wording). All we can do is be prepared for it. I'm just glad I got my Air 3S last month.

Any Ai3 3 s arriving in the USA?

Even though they are out of stock, DroneNerds' price is still the same. They have a "Reserve" button. I wonder if you can reserve it at the same price, or will it go up when their stock comes in?

130W laptop charger with the Air 3s

Good info, thanks. I will definitely try that. Unfortunately our weather sucks right now, so I can't get out to fly off some batteries. I'll try to do it before I send the hub back.

130W laptop charger with the Air 3s

So they are having me send it in to get checked. I can still charge through the drone, so no big deal.

130W laptop charger with the Air 3s

I'm on a chat with DJI right now. I'll see what they say. Hopefully they feel the same.

130W laptop charger with the Air 3s

Ok, so I just plugged in the charger to the drone directly, and I'm getting about 57-58W or so. So you think I may have an issue with the battery pack charger?

130W laptop charger with the Air 3s

I'm not worried about fast charging, I'm just wondering if the Anker brick isn't working properly. I had 3 batteries in the charger, all 3 were at roughly 40-50% capacity. Not sure about the PD 3.0 spec. This charger was recommended by a few Air 3S users on YouTube (of course... ugh...). Here is...

I'm going to have to time it the next time I charge.

130W laptop charger with the Air 3s

I bought an Anker 100w charging brick, and used the stock USB-C cable and one of those small devices that plug in-line with the cable to measure wattage and all that, and I was getting only 35-37W. I then bought a USB-C cable that is rated to 240W, and I STILL get 35-37W. It doesn't seem like it...
