    Should we be concerned?????

I checked, Amazon here in the US has taken all drone jamming guns down. That being said, I don’t even know if they were ever available on the US Amazon site. I can’t quote laws, but I do know that jamming devices are highly illegal.

    Should we be concerned?????

Here’s a pretty good article about it. P.S. clicked the Amazon link, and its no longer available… https://dronedj.com/2021/08/04/buy-your-own-drone-jamming-gun-on-amazon-but-be-careful/

What a jerk, I feel sorry for the pilot.

What kind of tourist, brings along an air rifle with them on vacation?

Prop screws are way too tight? (mini 3)

They really shouldn’t have been torqued them that much. I’m glad you finally got them loose. The best thing you should do, it buy some new screws, and properly torque them back down.

Prop screws are way too tight? (mini 3)

Stop using the supplied screwdriver! You need a much more precise tool for the job! Not a salesman for them, but iFixIt makes the best tools on the market for fixing things like this. In fact they have an excellent tool kit, called the essential electronics toolkit, for $29...

Flying in National Parks and restricted areas

I have no idea. I called the ranger station at the Red River gorge, and that’s what she told me. I haven’t flown there yet, but I have read the same thing on Kentucky’s forest service website.

Can mavic flights be tracked by a third party?

The only way I can see they could know, is if the quad is registered with their account, or they have access to your account. If so, then it would be simple to see the flight history. Otherwise, it’s just a bluff…

Flying in National Parks and restricted areas

Here in Kentucky, most national forest are open to drones, as long as they aren’t flown over public areas. But I can see where some areas in the US, could be a real headache, and need to be restricted.

Anyone see this video of the Mini 3 pro hitting a school bus.

What if, instead of a bus, it was someone on a motorcycle? This could’ve turned out so much worse. And I agree, he’s making it out like it’s no big deal… In fact, He had the hindsight to make a stupid YouTube video about It, ugh!

Anyone see this video of the Mini 3 pro hitting a school bus.

What an idiot! While active track is a cute feature, it NEVER should be used like this! There should’ve been someone else controlling the drone, ready to abort active track at the moment something happens. This comes under the FAA violation of BVLOS. I’m surprised the FAA hasn’t called him...

    Can I fly bvlos now?

We all know what we’re “Supposed” to do. But in all honesty, once a drone is up in the air, it’s very hard to keep track of, unless you have a spotter with binoculars. When I’m trying to concentrate on a shot, I’m too focused on the screen to keep track of the drone with my eyes. Yes, I do use a...
