Drone was sent in, very quick turn around time, and came back fixed at no charge. They said they replaced the compass board, but it came back with all the stickers on it, so i wondered if they just swapped the whole drone. Anyways, still have to do the first flight, but the app says GO! Thanks...

Is your compass saying "Disconnected"? If so, i had the same issue and had to send it in for repair.

Can the Mavic be flown without the compass calibrated?

Oh yes, i turned that thing in the different directions to successfully calibrate the IMUs. The compass calibration passed the horizontal test, but not the vertical one. I spinned that thing around at least 20 or 30 times. No bueno. DJI says I need to send it it in :/

I am talking with DJI customer support now about the issue. I'll post what they say in case it helps out others.

Disconnected

Hello all, I just received my Mavic Pro and look forward to getting her flying. I noticed in the compass interference section, Compass1 shows the interference (green) and Compass2 says disconnected. Is this normal? Thank you Compass2 by Kermit215 posted Dec 9, 2016 at 3:24 PM
