This is a quick video detailing how I carry the Mavic Drone when I am out on the trail with my dual sport. If anyone has questions about this pack let me know.

I never turned the sensors off and really not even sure how to do that unless I am in Sport mode? If I was in Sport Mode, Active Track should not work at all. I have used Active Track other times were it stops short of a tree, or an incline on a hill. I wished it would hold steady elevation...

This is a more recent video I did, I had one fail trying to use the active track myself while riding (see the second link). Otherwise, I have been finding that for moto drone flying, manual works best, now just need to develop better technique.

I have run active track before and had obstacle avoidance kick in when you would expect it to. On this particular flight, the Mavic started at about 17' and lost altitude as it was following the target for some reason, when it hit the ground it was still showing at 7.5 feet. I did calibrate it...

I had real trouble tracking on downward slopes, seems like that is a limitation unless I am doing something wrong. Any tips you have with the dual sport moto are appreciated. I learned I can mount the iPhone on the bike using a ram mount, then run a longer cord to the RC controller on a lanyard...
