It was directly from DJI. Got the UPS return label in less than a day. Return probably takes a week from Finland to Netherland. Bought the new one from Finnish online shop, hopefully it will be a good one.

My Mavic 3 Pro had a soft spot in the main camera and back it goes. The other two cameras were actually very good. So there are still some quality issues when it comes to lenses. Magenta issues that the Mavic 3 had seems to be gone though so that is a positive thing. Hopefully the next one will...

I gave up on Mavic 3 because of this problem. Completely unacceptable and impossible to take good looking panoramas on a cloudy day.

I noticed the same. I have sample images in post #263. Maybe the correction profile is only working @2.8 at this time? I have contacted DJI support about this, but it is very hard to get a reply from someone who actually knows this stuff.

I have done some testing on my fourth Mavic 3. This issue is also present in this unit. However at 2.8 it seems to be less visible. Sample pictures taken with 2.8 and 3.2 with just seconds apart. Could it be that some correction is applied with aperture 2.8 but not in 3.2 (and other apertures)...

So the conclusion is that it is a lottery to get a properly working unit. My fourth Mavic 3 should arrive on Tuesday and if it still suffers from this color shift then I'm done with Mavic 3 until production quality is on a better level.

Sadly seems to be affected too. Could this affect all units and majority of users just don't see this?

I have now ordered my fourth Mavic 3. If that has problems then I will give up on the Mavic 3 for some time and see how the situation progress.

But wouldn't this have to mean that every Mavic 3 out there would have to perform somewhat equally? If they are not performing equally and DJI changes the way RAW files are processed to say reduce the magenta on the sides. Then those units without it wouldn't behave correctly anymore.

What is the manufacturing date of this unit?

I think it is a hardware problem and that's why DJI is dead silent about it in their own forum. I have asked multiple times to comment on this issue after the so called firmware was out that was supposed to fix this.

That is most likely what is happening. I have also taken very good photos with Mavic 3 where this magenta problem isn't visible.

You know what I mean. Cloudy=color is usually white/grey as the wall is.

Is your Mavic 3 having this magenta problem?
