Hmm, that makes sense, I guess. In early April my MPP was leaving messages in the flight logs that the RID functionality was working properly. During a flight on April 2nd the RID seemed to work upon takeoff, but after that no more reference to RID at all. Seemed to have been working before...
They will be named sequentially so just count. Also, if you use Bridge to cull your images, in the metadata it will show you 0, -1, +1, -2, +2, so you'll know that it was a bracketed set.
I thought I'd try to download a drone scanner to my android phone and see what kind of info my drones are broadcasting. So I found one called 'drone scanner' and tried it with both my compliant drones. Anyway, the app showed actually nothing, even though I had 2 RID compliant drones flying...
I don't have the M3P, but looking at the User's Guide it does show a USB-C connector on the drone. You should be able to connect to a USB port on your computer, power on the drone, and use File Explorer to access the 100MEDIA folder. (Just like you would an external hard drive). At least...
I always keep the cards in the drones. I usually just attach the drone to the USB port with a cable and cut and paste the 100MEDIA folder to my computer. Then I rename the 100MEDIA folder to the current date.
At some point during a flight on April 2nd, my Mavic Pro Platinum seems to have lost its 'remote id functionality'. Looking at the flight log it shows that remote id is functioning at the beginning of the flight, but when landing it doesn't show the typical RID message. All the subsequent...
I 2nd the Air2S. Probably the biggest bang-for-your-buck right now. A little above your budget, but they did just go down in price. Around $1100 for a new flymore combo, and $799 for a refurb Air2S flymore.
I've never bought the DJI care refresh, but I can say that the State Farm policy I carry was very easy to deal with. I very quickly got reimbursed after my Mavic Pro of 3 years crashed. Policy is $60 / yr, (I'm in Rockford, IL). From what they say they will also cover a flyaway and theft...
The nicks were on the leading edge of one prop, (at the gold tips), just 2 small nicks on each end. I don't think it hit the camera, but I did notice that the drone did a slight and momentary tip or wobble. The only thing out of the ordinary is a high-wind warning around the suspected time...
Unfortunately I wasn't running video at the time. The props were almost new - only about 5-10 flights on them. I just replaced upper and lower body shell and a LR motor arm after a crash - and I've been doing evaluation flights. I think what you said - maybe some bees or something.
I was flying my MPP, that I have recently rebuilt and noticed a bit of a stutter while descending from 400 ft. At about 150 ft I noticed a bit of a hiccup, and then it carried on. I flew about 4 more minutes and brought it down and noticed a few nicks on one of the props, near the tips. I'm...
Just wondering why the use of a fan is needed to do the download. Doesn't the fan in the drone keep the unit cool enough without having to setup another fan?
