How did DJI ever come up with the bizarre conversion from 1 db to 60% savings? 1% is not equal to 60%. At least not in the reality I live in.

Part of the problem *might* be that the Note 8 has a funny 18.5:9 screen ratio.

I watched a few YouTube videos yesterday, including one that used a device to measure decibels. The new props weren't quieter in any of the comparisons, they were actually measured to be slightly louder in one of the videos. Another video found a 3% reduction in noise -- completely negligible...

I always assumed the Mavic's props were aerodynamically optimized. So hearing that the new props come with an astonishing 40% reduction, I can't help but wonder why nobody else has made such props before and sold them? Is it so difficult to calculate this stuff?
