Thanks James and Q! I tried it again today and it worked. Don't know how. There was mag interference messages yesterday. None today. Drones quite powerful. Planning to see the ball game across the hill this week. I wonder how high this goes. Can I let go beyond line of sight?

My new mavic is fully charged, activated, firmware updated but still not showing ready to go. I did not remove the gymball clamp and cover the first couple times I started the drone. Is that the problem here. Any insight welcome. Thanks?

Just received the mavic and charged up. It just won't fly! It showed ready to go for a few secs and rotors whirred then nothing.
