I see you have some troubles with transferring your aerial media to a smartphone. I’ve solved this thing with a great app - Sync for DJI.
With Sync for DJI, you can download any video and image to Smart Controller with few clicks. I like better user experience in this app unlike in DJI GO...
For download images from DJI drone or Osmo I strongly recommend 'Sync for DJI' app (iOS only). This app allows you download media in original resolution (also supports 4K video) and in the background. The app work only with DJI devices.

Try 'Sync for DJI' app. This app allows you download videos and images in original size instantly from connected drone or Osmo. I use it with my Spark and iPhone.

Guys seems you have to try 'Sync for DJI' app (now it is only for iOS)
This app allows you download recorded images and videos just by a few taps. As for me after flying I open 'Sync for DJI' app, choose images and then tap on download button. After that you even can minimize the app...
