Mine was the same way. I couldn't even take off it just went right to landing. I just got pissed and pushed down on it fairly hard. Hasn't acted up since. If that will fix your issue I don't know,might break it too . Like I said I was pissed off so I didn't care if it broke at that point.

So since I just went through this same dilemma I will comment. One thing I noticed on the mini 4 is the reflection it seems to have. I could see myself so well I could probably put in my contacts while flying hahaha. What I did to eliminate that is install a matte type anti glare screen...
