    Landing in a boat

I've landed my Mavic 2s and Mavic 3 in our boat dozens of times, but only by hand catching. I also recommend getting comfortable with it. Get familiar with hovering just in front of you, reach out, grab it (watching out for props), and execute CSC.

What are some best practices after initial take off?

I have always flown up about 10 feet, hovered, checked satellites, checked ALL inputs (fly left, right, up, down, circle, just a bit), make sure the drone is stable, make sure the home point is recorded, make sure all the readings on the screen look correct, then go for it.

    An ideal Tablet.

I use the latest model, iPad mini 6 with Hoodman sun shade. It works flawlessly. I always close ALL other apps before I launch DJI Fly so that it is the only app running.

If you're tired of the power adaptor hanging out the power outlet

You, too, my friend, and also, stay safe... 😷

If you're tired of the power adaptor hanging out the power outlet

See my post above. I keep several drones and several cameras and lots of lenses and gear organized in a closet off of power strips and the charger block just takes up too much room on the power strip. If you don't get it, it's no big deal, you just don't need it.

If you're tired of the power adaptor hanging out the power outlet

That's an interesting solution, I'm pretty happy with my closet organization, but darn, that looks nice! I sure don't need that many batteries. I'm an older, disabled Vietnam vet, and at 90 mins plus, with the addition of a sine wave AC outlet in my car, I'm pretty well set.

If you're tired of the power adaptor hanging out the power outlet

I should add that I keep my drones and LOTS of camera gear and other electronics somewhat neatly organized in a closet and having the charger brick plugged into a power strip just took up too much room.

If you're tired of the power adaptor hanging out the power outlet

Some of you may actually like that the power adaptor plugs directly into the wall. I hate it. So I bought this short 1.6'/0.5m) extension cord to plug the adaptor into. I carefully bent the adaptor power prongs inward a tiny bit so they would fit tightly. Now my adaptor isn't sticking out from...

Anyone know a use for these?

with the very first Phantoms, quality control of the props was questionable at best and balancing really helped. They did improve over time, but you had to buy the genuine DJI props.

Anyone know a use for these?

I still have have my Phantom 3 Pro, Phantom 2 and original Phantom. And the the there versions of the Mavic Pro... but I can't for the life of me ever imagine using this again 😁 I'm thinking the trash can. What do y'all think?

    What happened?

I've had this happen more than a few times. Just move to a new spot and try again.

    Backpack for air travel

If you're looking for a backpack, you cannot beat the PGYTECH OneMo 25L backpack. It has room for the Mavic 3, my Sony A7r iVa and several lenses, my iPad, the controller with the Mavmount Scout attached and room to spare. AND it's on sale with coupon codes available. It costs more, but it's...

Anyone know a replacement for UAVStickers.com? They made a nice set for the Mavic Pro, 2 Pro, and 2 Zoom

Thanks (Ryan--I presume), I actually had quite a few left over from my Mavic 2 Pro, but they were gold so I ordered the white ones to match the lettering on the Mavic 3. Plus, I had already used the smaller ones. Glad I found you!
