I'm having the same experiences with my M2P. I can only get about 5500 feet at the most. Usually around 4000 feet though. I dont plan on going to 20000 feet but I would still like to know how much range I'll have comfortably. Especially when wanting to get a shot over water.

Checking in from San Diego, California. This is my first serious drone. Upgraded from a Hubsan 107C. I've owned this Mavic 2 Pro a month and love it! I can't wait for this quarantine to be over so I can find places to fly.

I fly with the smart contriller but I also have the app on my S20+ Ultra. The features that I've tried have worked on the phone.
