I think it would be part of the process in those experiences the pilot had, even it's negative or a positive one. Experience is all it takes to make a good pilot :)

I agree with them. You should study well of your drone with its capabilities, and your capabilities and how to extent them to the point wherein you could be experienced. Would be a heart-breaking I tell you once you really lost your drone. Practice helps ;)
