Prudent practice would be to sandbox your Mini 2 which works with your current configuration, and buy another device for your new Mini 3. That way, nothing you do for the Mini 3 will ever affect the Mini 2 setup. Mini 3 did not ship at release... -

If you are going to get a refurbished Drone get one from a dealer such as CAMRISE, they sell DJI refurbs. I am not sure if Amazon refurb is the same. If it is I would buy it. If you are not for sure that its a true refurb from DJI I would Pass.
