Used search but couldnt find an answer to my question. If using an old phone for your RC display, does it have to be an 'active' phone in order to work? (able to make calls?) Reason being, my phone is a S7 active. Really doesnr fit the arms of the RC very well. Too thick.

And here thought that I'D be the 'old' one in the group? (noticed the ages of a few) thanks again for the welcome.

already liking it, rchawks. is it ok to ask a question in the pilot check in forum or should i do it in the drone specific forum? (i guess that is a question, isnt it?)
