There are already ways to prevent what DHS is worried about that mustn't be discussed on this forum. As long as you are AWARE you can defeat all intrusions of your data. MavicPilots are up to the same data sharing thus the reason for free blogosphere.

Isn't there a log on the sd that would show starting gps location or track for RTH? Using the DJI app? Or at least watch any video that might be stored for an idea where the pilot took off from.

Or drop a cell phone rescue battery so they can recharge their cell phone since they had connection before the battery died. Something all hikers should have in their backpacks.

Disney is crystal clear and even hand out flyers in Fort Wilderness NO DRONES. I was tempted during a very recent visit because how would they know if you fly high. I fought the urge along with the advice from my wife and kids if we got kicked out because I was stubborn. Not worth the risk.
