Yes I did exuma, I got approval from the boat captain to launch off the boat deck, fly around a bit then land on the deck. He didn’t mind.

Nope no deposit, Bahamas customs didn’t even ask about it. Nope nobody asked anything when I flew. Was completely painless

Walked right through customs with no questions asked. Went through the Toronto airport (home airport) and they asked to see it but that was it. I ran into the signal issues because I was very close to a cell tower, but other than that no issues!

Carry on. They were actually quite friendly, more interested in where we were staying.

I just got back from Bahamas, had no issues with customs, didn’t even ask if I had a drone. And no trouble when flying either.

I’m heading to Bahamas next week, got all the paper work. Hoping to avoid the 50% fee...

Haven’t gone yet. But I’ll have to be prepared for the 50% deposit/hold fee that I’ve been warned about.

I’m headed to Bahamas at the end of February, I got a letter of approval from Mr. Gregory Edwards , as well as a approval to import letter from Whitney Kenny. So hopefully no issues on arrival
